We ask for your password so nobody else can transfer your rod.

You submit the request with the new owner's details.
ROF reviews and approves the request.
We e-mail the new owner a link. It is valid for 14 days.
The new owner logs in with that e-mail address and accepts.
The same rod moves to them: same serial number, same NFC tag, same certificate. The warranty is not restarted. Your strikes stay on your profile.

Knowing a serial number or tapping the rod never moves ownership on its own.

You can cancel until the transfer is complete.
